Facilities at Mount Brandon Pottery School
The studio is equipped with two electric wheels, an electric kiln, a pug mill and has lots of natural light. There is a spacious storage/drying rack. There are lots of hand tools and equipment at students’ disposal.
We use white earthenware clay, which is the perfect base for showing off the different brush-on glazes.
Even when the kiln isn’t firing, there is proper heating – you will not be cold, even in winter!
For pottery lovers who do not have the time to do a course, please come and browse the studio with Carmen’s work / pieces displayed in the large window. There is ample parking and the studio is wheelchair-accessible.
