The pottery school is scheduled to re-open for classes on Tuesday 1st December.
To quote one student (28/11/20): “I am so looking forward to going back…I really missed those few hours of creativity”
Note that the next pottery workshop will take place on Saturday 23rd January (fingers crossed).

Facilities at Mount Brandon Pottery School
People who come here to attend classes often comment on how bright the studio is. It is equipped with two electric potter’s wheels, an electric kiln (the oven) and has lots of natural light. There are lots of hand tools and equipment at students’ disposal.
We use white earthenware clay, which is the perfect base for showing off the different coloured slips (clay which is sourced locally and mixed with water to decorate freshly-made pieces) and commercial brush-on glazes (which are used to paint the fired pots).
For pottery lovers who do not have the time to attend a class, please come and browse the studio with Carmen’s work.
There is ample parking and the studio is wheelchair-accessible.
